Bo Da pagoda
The official name of Bo Da pagoda is Bo Da Son Quan Am Tu (Quan Am pagoda on Bo Da mountain), this is one of the most interesting and unique pagodas in northern Vietnam, is the centre of Buddism under Truc Lam Yen Tu order.
Bo Da pagoda is located on Phuong Hoang mountain, north of Cau river on the territory of Viet Yen district, Bac Giang province. Bo Da pagoda is one of the few places that still retain the traditional architecture and different from other pagodas in Vietnam, with the largest tower garden and many valuable antiques.
The festival of Bo Da pagoda is organized on Lunar February 16-18 every year, the festival attracts visitors from all over the country to come and pray for health, peace and happiness.
Bo Da pagoda is about 40 km from Hanoi on the former national highway 1A, about 4 km from Dap Cau area..
