Da Huong tree
The Da Huong tree in Lang Giang district, Bac Giang province is rated as national heritage and considered as the oldest Da Huong tree in the world. This tree is thousands of years old and is one of the last two Da Huong trees in the world, one tree in India was dead and the Da Huong tree in Bac Giang is considered as the only tree still alive. The tree trunk was so big that 8 people embrace with arms, the biggest part is 12,5m and smallest part is 8.3m, the tree height is 36m, average bark is 15cm thick. Some branches on the tree is dry, over the hard times but are still firm without falling, the tree has yellowish little blossoms, blooming in late spring.
