Khuon Than lake
Khuon Than lake is about 50 km from Bac Giang town and 100 km northeast of Hanoi city. Khuon Than lake is located in Luc Ngan district with an area of 240 hectares, surrounded by pine forests. Inside the lake are 5 small islets like upside down bowls on water, the islets are planted pine aged 15 - 20 years along with broad swathes of about 800 hectares in area.
Coming to Khuon Than lake visitors and enjoy a boat trip on the lake, feel the immense quiet of the lake, watching the sky, mountains and water. Especially, in the rainy season, visitors can observe the water pouring from the top of Khuon Than dam rushing down the valley along the lake.
In addition, visitors also have here the opportunity to visit the temple of Tu Ma, dedicated to famous general under Tran dynasty. Along with that is the cultural value of the ethnic peoples: San Chi, Cao Lan, Nung, Tay ... who have lived here for a long time.
