Cho Ra township is capital of Ba Be district, Cho Ra township is located on highway 279. According to statistics of 2009 population of Cho Ra is 3600 people. Cho Ra used to be the base for travelers to stay when they visit Ba Be lakes, from Cho Ra to Ba Be lakes is about 10 km.
