Do temple in Bac Ninh
Do temple, also known as Ly Bat De temple is dedicated to eight kings of the Ly dynasty. Do temple is located 20km north of Hanoi in Tu Son district, Bac Ninh province.
Do temple was started in 1030 by King Ly Thai Tong when he organized his father's death anniversary, later the temple was extended and restored several times.
With an area of 31.000 square meters and over 20 items, Do temple is divided into 2 parts as inside and outside, all are carefully built and carved.
The festival of Do temple is organized on 14,15,16 of Lunar March in celebration of the day King Ly Cong Uan was crowned in 1009.
