Tieu Long pagoda
Tieu Long pagoda is in Tuong Giang commune, Tu Son district, Bac Ninh. Tieu Long pagoda is also called Tieu temple or Luc To pagoda, built on the side of Tieu mountain, at the foot of the mountain is Tieu Tuong river. Tieu pagoda has long been a famous pagoda.
Tieu pagoda is meditatin place of Buddhist monks and one of the Buddhist centers in Vietnam. Tieu pagoda is attached to the King Ly Cong Uan who found the Ly dynasty. Specifically, Tieu pagoda also holds the tomb tower and the body of abbot Nhu Tri, died in 1723. The body statue in Tieu pagoda has been nearly 300 years, experts have identified abbot Nhu Tri as the person who compiled many books on leterature, philosophy and folklore.
