Da Nhay beach in Quang Binh

Da Nhay beach is located about 30 km north of Dong Hoi city, in Thanh Trach and Hai Trach communes, Bo Trach district. This beach is located right on National Highway 1A, part of the North-South highway. This place was also an important military position during the war under the Le dynasty.

Origin of the name
The name Da Nhay or "Dancing Rock" comes from the erosion of the sea waves. Over time, the giant limestone blocks here have been eroded, creating unique and strange shapes. When the waves hit, these rocks undulate as if they were dancing.

Da Nhay beach is made up of giant limestone blocks, 3 to 4 meters high, undulating, stacked on top of each other. These blocks of rock have many different shapes, they can be elephants, buffaloes, toads, tigers,... or the shape of giant mushrooms depending on each person's imagination.

- If traveling by bus, visitors can take the bus route Dong Hoi - Ba Don. This route will pass through Da Nhay Beach.
- If going from Phong Nha town, visitors should go in the direction of Phong Nha - Cu Nam - Cau Gianh - along Highway 1A to Da Nhay.
