Ta Lung border gate is in Phuc Hoa district, now is an international bordergate, Ta Lung is as busy as Tan Thanh in Lang Son in terms of goods volume however there is no market like Tan Thanh.
Although there is no market Ta Lung has many motels and guesthouses, the hotel Thai Chau is considered as a border casino for traders and businessmen from China and Vietnam.
From Ta Lung there are 2 bus trips everyday to Lang Son and many buses to/from Cao Bang and travellers can travel from Ta Lung to Lang Son without going back to Cao Bang. Eating and drinking in Ta Lung is expensive and travelers are recommended to agree on prices first.
