Pa Khoang lake
Pa Khoang lake is in Muong Phang commune, 25 km north east of Dien Bien town. Pa Khoang lake is located at an altitude of 1000 meters above the sea level, the lake is larger than 600 hectars with a capacity of nearly 40 million m3 water, the lake provides water for 2 hydro power plants Na Loi and Thac Bay and ensure irrigation water for the Muong Thanh field, Pa Khoang lake is also an attractive destinations for visitors to Dien Bien province.
