Nhue river
Nhue river or Nhue Giang is a small river, a tributary of Day river with a total length of 76km running windingly in the directiion of northwest - southeast through Ha Noi and Ha nam province.
Starting point of Nhue river is Lien Mac drain, using water from Red river in the territory of Tu Liem district in Ha Noi and finish point is Phu Ly drain in Ha Nam. It's basin covers in area 1075 km2.
In terms of history, in 1831 King Minh Mang order the establishment of Hanoi province including Thang Long citadel and Nhue river and Red river was identified as the boundary of Hanoi, Hanoi means "city inside the rivers".
