Ba Vi national park
Ba Vi national park is a new park formed in 1991. Ba Vi national park is located in Ba Vi mountain area on the outskirt of Hanoi and 2 districts Luong Son, Ky Son of Hoa Binh province, the part has an area of 10.815 hectares, 15 km from Son Tay township and 50 km west of Hanoi.
From the early 20th century, Ba Vi was a famous landscape for its diversity of ecosystems and beautiful sceneries, cool climate. The park is located in a high mountain range running along the northeast-southwest to Vua peak 1,296 meters altitude, Tan Vien peak 1.227m.
