Temple of Ong Hoang Muoi
Ong Hoang Muoi temple is also known as Cui temple, is located in Xuan Hong commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province, about 10 km from Vinh city or 40 km from Ha Tinh town. Ong Hoang Muoi temple is considered as one of the most sacred temples in the region.
Ong Hoang Muoi temple was built on Khu Doc mountain by the romantic Lam river, one of the most beautiful landscapre in Nghi Xuan district. In the consciousness of the people of Ha Tinh - Nghe county, Ong Hoang Muoi contributed a lot in the fight against the Minh invaders. He died in 1446 and was buried in Nam Gioi mountain, Thach Ha District, Ha Tinh and his temple was built later.
There are some festival in Ong Hoang Muoi temple however the biggest festival is held on 10th lunar October.
