Chu Van An temple
Chu Van An temple is located in Chi Linh district, Hai Duong province, about 80 km from Hanoi. The temple is dedicated to the great teacher Chu Van An (1292 - 1370).
Chu Van An temple is built on Phuong Hoang mountain, the temple is composed of a magnificent architecture complex bearing the style of Nguyen dynasty.
Chu Van An temple is not only a tourist attraction but also an educational and spiritual destination of many visitors, teachers and students across the country. Every year, at the pen opening ceremony in spring is held on 6th Lunar January with Chinese - Vietnamese calligraphy. Chu Van An temple was classified as a national historic site in 1998.
