Lap river
Lap river in Hai Phong is a small branch of Cam river linked to Tam Bac river, a canal that was built in 1886. In 1925 part of the river was filled from the entrance of Hai Phong port to the Exhibition Centre, the remaining stretch of the river is called Lap river (Filled river). In 1985 Lap river was renovated as Tam Bac lake.
