Le Mat village is located in Gia Lam district across Long Bien bridge, 15 km from Hanoi centre. For a long time Le Mat village is famous as the biggest traditional village in north Vietnam specializes in raising and making snake products such as snake wines, wallets and back belts...Currently there are over 100 households with 350 restaurants serving snake dishes. According to oriental medicine snake is considered as a type of medicine very good for health.
