Long Bien bridge
Long Bien bridge is the oldest bridge in Hanoi. Long Bien bridge was built by the French in the late 19th century that connects Hoan Kiem district and Long Bien area.
For a long time Long Bien is the only bridge over Red River in Hanoi city. Together with Viet Tri bridge in Phu Tho, Long Bien is one of the two bridges in Vietnam that goes on the left side. There is also a railway track running from Hanoi to northwestern provinces.
Today Long Bien bridge is only for motorbikes and bicycles, this is a favourite site for young people to take wedding pictures for its beautiful style.
