Best Pho must be "classic", cooked with beef, broth is sweet and clear, rice noodles plus some spring onion, pepper and herbs. Pho was very popular in Hanoi since 1940s when people from all walks of life ate Pho.
Pho can be found in all cities in Vietnam, most hotels serve Pho for their guests however the best Pho restaurants are in Hanoi, to name a few such as Tu Lun, Bat Dan, Lo Duc restaurants.
Over time, Pho are cooked in several ways beside soup such as fried Pho, wrapped Pho, Chicken Pho...However the best is still Pho soup with beef.
