Red river or Song Hong in Vietnamese is the biggest river in north Vietnam, the river originates in China, running all the way over 500 km through northern part of Vietnam and ends in East Sea, covering provinces of Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hanoi, Hung Yen, Ha Nam, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, the river is the main source of water for people living on it's sides, the Red river delta is one of the 2 cradles for ethnic Vietnamese civilization.
