Temple of Ba Chua Vuc
Ba Chua Vuc temple belongs to the ancient Pho Hien relics. According to legend, in At Mao year the dyke was broken and Hung Yen was flooded, people were mobilized to rebuild the dyke but could not stand the water power, people had to set up a temple and pray Ba Chua Vuc lady, she appeared and helped people stop the flood. In order to honor Ba Chua Vuc lady, local people built a shrine at the place where the dyke was broken, the temple was built in Le dynasty style, large and imposing.
Every year, on 23rd lunar May, local people and pilgrims come to Ba Chua Vuc temple and pray for good harvest, favorable weather, health and wealth.
