Chuong pagoda is also called Kim Chung Tu as it is associated to an ancient legend, in a cataclysmic, a gold bell on a raft from nowhere drifted to the field of Nhan Duc village, considered as a gift from heaven, villagers rebuilt the pagoda with a bigger tower for the bell, every time the bell is hit, the sound went far.
The most notable feature of this ancient pagoda is a system of unique Buddha statures exquisitively crafted from clay, especially Kim Cuong statue with 4 Bodhisattva statures, 18 Arhat statues, all were meticulously crafted, each statue with a pose, bearing different expressions.
