Da Hoa temple
Da Hoa temple is located in Khoai Chau district, about 20 km from Hanoi city and 35 km northwest of Hung Yen town.
Visitors can travel to Da Hoa temple by boat from Chuong Duong Do port sailing along Red river about 2 hours to Binh Minh commune in Khoai Chau or by road from Hanoi along the dyke road to Khoai Chau.
Da Hoa temple is built on an elevated, flat and rectangular area of 18.720m2. The front side of the temple turned west, looking straight into Tu Nhien field where princess Tien Dung of Hung King met Chu Dong Tu. The temple is divided into three zones, the outer zone is 7200 sq m, no wall around.
Overall the building consists of 18 curved roof houses, this is special architecture to recreate the scene of the Princess's fleet set sail on the river.
In addition to its unique architecture, Da Hoa temple holds many precious relics such as 3 set of wooden thrones made in 17th century, considered as the oldest thrones found in Vietnam.
