Dau An temple
Dau An temple is in Tien Lu district, about 12km northeast of Hung Yen town. To come to Dau An temple from Hanoi, you can travel along Highway 5 about 28 km to the town of Pho Noi then turn right along Highway 39 about 20 km to the south, visitors will come to Cho Gao are (Hung Yen City). From here, turn left into Giac street and drive 12km further to Dau An temple.
Dau An temple was built in northern Vietnam architectural style and is dedicated to the Jade Emperor, the temple is located on a dragon shaped land about 2 hectares. Besides the unique architecture, Dau An temple holds many valuable ancient religious relics such as the nine story tower made of earth in Ly dynasty.
The festival of Dau An temple is held every year from 6th - 12th lunar April.
