Nom village
Nom village is in Van Lam district, Hung Yen province, about 30km from Hanoi, this is an old village with nearly 200 years old. The centre of Nom village is a beautiful architecture with old temple, well and an ancient banyan tree, typical of northern Vietnam villages.
The village gate was built 200 years ago with four square pillar carved with sophisticated textures. The most impressive thing in Nom village is local villagers still keep their way of life, everything remains almost intact without being affected by the wave of urbanization.
