O Quy Ho pass
O Quy Ho pass is nearly 50 km in length from Sapa along 4D national highway and finishes in Lai Chau land at Tam Duong junction. O Quy Ho is also call Hoang Lien Son pass as it runs pass the magnificent Hoang Lien Son mountain, covered by clouds all year round. The name O Quy Ho is placed under the name of a bird, attached to the legend of a romantic love. In 1990s the pass was rugged and dangerous, close the the abyss with frequent landslides and thus few people went this road.
