Sapa ancient rock field
Sapa ancient rock field spreads out on the territory of three communes Ta Van, Hau Thao and Su Pan in the Muong Hoa valley with a total area of 8 km2. Sapa ancient rock field is located right on the winding mountain path, there are 159 large and small rocks lies in the paddy fields.
Various shapes and figures were engraved on the surface of big rocks, especially the human figures in different positions. Most scientists consider this a great heritage of mankind. The rocks not only provide the value in terms of art, but they also have spiritual significance, as a message of mystery that ancestors return it to posterity.
