Thuong temple
Thuong temple is located right in Lao Cai city, only 500 m from Ha Khau border gate. Thuong temple was built under Le dynasty in 17th century, the temple is dedicated to King Tran Hung Dao who contributed to the defence of Vietnam agains Chinese invaders.
Thuong temple is on the bank of Nam Thi river, the temple has become a famous religious destination in Lao Cai province. The festival of Thuong temple is held in lunar January every year, the most significant sight of Thuong temple is the 300 year old banyan tree.
