Cuong temple is also known as An Duong Vuong temple, Cuong temple is located on Mo Da mountain of Dai Hai range, next to National Highway 1A, in Dien Chau district, Nghe An province.
Cuong temple is dedicated to King An Duong Vuong who led the resistance defeating Chinese infaders and brought independence and freedom for the nation, also the founder of Au Lac nation in the old time.
In memoration of the merits of King An Duong Vuong, people in Dien Chau set up a shrine on Mo Da mountain.
Cuong temple festival is held in 3 days 13,14 and 15 Lunar February with many cultural activities such as singing, rowing, fireworks and traditional folk games such as: throwing, fencing, wrestling, cock fighting, crossbow shooting...
