Lao Viet war martyr cemetery
Vietnam - Laos International Martyrs Cemetery is located in Block 4 of Anh Son District, Nghe An Province. This is the resting place of the 10804 war martyrs, including 3789 martyrs have an identity, the rest are unknown. The cemetery is about 80 km west of Vinh city.
The cemetery has an area of nearly 7 hectares and is the largest cemetery of Vietnamese martyrs and experts who participated in the fighting in Laos. The cemetery was built in 1976. In 1982 all remains of the martyrs who were killed in Laos were brought back to Vietnam.
