Kho Muong cave
Kho Muong cave or Bat cave is one of the most attractive caves in the cave system discovered in Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Limestone stalactites formed about 250 million years ago make this cave. The cave is linked to the underground system with a length of about 2.5 km to the north and bring water from Kho Muong through the village of Lung Cao. The river system flowing through the cave is a common feature of the Kart mountain, which creates a connection between the valleys by the flow of water. Kho Muong cave is also home to many bats, with at least four species of bats residing in the cave at different times of the year. Going further into the cave, visitors will be able to admire the stone blocks, stalactites and stalagmites with strange shapes such as human figures, trees, animals...in various colors and all appear extremely vivid and special. Deep in the cave there is a large open space that looks like a natural volleyball court, this is one of the highlights of the bat cave.
