Pu Luong
Pu Luong nature reserve is located in Quan Hoa and Ba Thuoc districts of Thanh Hoa province, which was established in 1999 with an area of 17,662 ha, of which 13,320 ha is strictly protected area, the remaining 4,343 ha is the area of ecological restoration. Pu Luong is named by Thai people, which means the highest mountain in the region. Pu Luong is considered a nature reserve of scientific, socio-economic and ecological tourism. Together with Pu Hu, forests in the Pu Luong area play an important role in watershed protection of the Ma River in Thanh Hoa Province. Pu Luong with terraced rice fields, wild mountains and simple houses nestled on the hillside has long been a promising land of enthusiastic travelers. Coming to Pu Luong, visitors will really be immersed in the liberal nature, sleep in the stilt house, separate from the noisy world. There is no internet and even some places do not even have telephones. The residents here are mainly Thai people, very hospitable.
