Ba Om pond
Ba Om pond is located by national highway 53, about 5 km southwest of Tra Vinh town. Ba Om pond campus is 100.000 square meters in area of which 43.000 m2 covered by water surface, it is also call Square pond for it's shape, around the pond are tottering mounds of sand with nearly 500 Sao trees (Hopea odorata) hundreds of years old with roots rising on the ground into spectacular shapes and green grass field around the pond. Next to Ba Om pond is Ang pagoda, one of the oldest Khmer pagodas in the Mekong Delta.
