Lo river
Lo river is a left bank tributary of the Red River, Lo river originates from Yunnan Province in China, flows into Vietnam at Thanh Thuy commune, Vi Xuyen district, Ha Giang province. Last point is Viet Tri junction.
The section of Lo river flowing in Vietnam has a length of 274 km, in which 156 km from Viet Tri junction to the port of Tuyen Quang, allowing the vessels of 100 to 150 tonnes load transport can work both dry and wet seasons.
Lo River has two major tributaries are:
- Chay river, right bank tributary, confluence in the town of Doan Hung district, Phu Tho Province.
- Gam River, a tributary of the left bank, into Lo river in Khe Lau, Tuyen Quang.
