Huong Canh temple
Huong Canh temple (Dinh Huong Canh) formerly belonged to Huong Canh commune, Son Tay district (Doai county), now Huong Canh townlet, Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc province, about 40 km west of Hanoi.
At present there is no history records about when it was built, however, based on architectural art and colonial studies, the temple was considered to be built in the late 17th and early 18th century in the post-Le dynasty.
Huong Canh temple worships six Gods under Ngo Kings. The architecture of Huong Canh temple is in the shape of the letter Vuong (Kinh), including three parts. This is also the general architectural style of the relics of 3 temples Huong Canh, Ngoc Canh and Tien Canh. From the beginning of the twentieth century, Huong Canh's architectural style was regarded by the French as one of the most valuable cultural constructions.
