Khau Pha pass
Khau Pha pass is the longest and most dangerous pass in highway 32 with total length 32 kilometres, Khau Pha pass is located in the bordering area between Van Chan and Mu Cang Chai districts. Khau Pha pass runs through many famous landmarks in Yen Bai province such as Tu Le, La Pan Tan, Mu Cang Chai, Che Cu Nha... at an altitude of 1200 - 1500 meters oave the sea level. Khau Pha in the languare of local Black Thai people means the Horn of Heaven (mountain horn rising to heaven). This is one of the most dangerous and beautiful in north west Vietnam.
