Thac Ba lake
Thac Ba lake is located on the territory of 2 districts Yen Binh and Luc Yen, Thac Ba reservoir was formed when the dam was built on Chay river to built Thac Ba hydro power plant in 1970. Thac Ba lake was recognized as a national historic site, this is the biggest artificial lake in Vietnam covering over 1000 islands with an area of 23.400 hectares. Coming to Thac Ba lake visitors cannot miss a boat trip around the tranquil lake, feel the fresh air and see the peaceful life of people making a living on the lake.
